Guildhall Studio Music Promoter
The new Guildhall Studio at Portsmouth Guildhall is breaking new ground with its diverse and innovative programme.
We are now seeking an ambitious music promoter who will programme regular music events including local musicians and the best of new and emerging talent from Portsmouth, the region and nationally.
You will have a passion for music, some experience of music promotion at a local level, excellent music knowledge and the ambition to create new and exciting evenings. We are passionate about music so you will need to match our desire to create something unique for the city.
Casual SIA Door Licensed Operatives
Responsible to: Security & Wellbeing Manager
Hours: Casual (must be available evenings and weekends)
Pay: £10.25-£11.25 per hour
Working within the Security and Crowd Management team within the largest Concert and Event venue in the area as well as for Guildhall Events Services. Looking after the security and crowd management of the events within the Guildhall as well as monitoring the safety & wellbeing of the team working within the Guildhall & patrons entering the venue.

Supporting our capital programme of Renaissance, our engaging ‘Get Involved’ programmes and many of the current and future projects of The Guildhall Trust, we are looking for passionate individuals with the relevant skills and experience that are able to attend up to 4 meetings a year and advise on the direction and activities of the Trust.
This is an unpaid position but travel and expenses will be reimbursed.
Week long work experience for Y10, Y11 and College Students
We offer a limited number of placements each year that give a broad experience across all departments of the venue.

Work Shadow Opportunities
Each year we run ‘Connect’ our work shadow programme where we offer x10 young people aged 16+ who are serious about developing a career offstage, the opportunity to work alongside our technical team.
Over a 9 month period successful applicants are offered x3 shows on which they can shadow our team, learn about how shows are run and how to approach the working environment.
