FINANCE OFFICER

TITLE: Finance Officer

Recruitment Evening

Join us for our latest Recruitment Evening on Saturday 21st of September, from 12pm to 5pm. We are looking for the following:

Casual Front Of House
We are looking for dynamic team members to join our front of house team, ensuring high customer service levels are achieved across our Bars, Kiosks and Cafes and the variety of events held within the Guildhall.

Casual Portering
We are looking for people to join our team to conduct room turn arounds, to ensure that all event spaces furniture is set to a high standard, this role heavily involves manual handling. Applicants accepted 18 years+

Casual Security
We are looking for friendly and customer focused individuals to join our security team, to ensure the safe and smooth running of the concerts and events held at the Guildhall. Applicants must already have a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence

Casual Events House Keeper
We are looking for dynamic team member with an attention to detail to ensure the venue remains clean and presentable throughout the concerts and events held at the Guildhall.

Work Experience

Week long work experience for Y10, Y11 and College Students

We offer a limited number of placements each year that give a broad experience across all departments of the venue.

We do not accept CVs and/or Covering Letters and the application must be written and submitted by the person wishing to undertake work experience. We particularly welcome applications from students who express an interest in working in the music, arts and cultural sector.

Potential applicants will be interviewed in person or by phone before a placement is offered. Due to the large number of applications we receive we are not able to reply to all. If you have not heard from us within 1 week of submitting your application, you have unfortunately been unsuccessful.

 

Work Shadow Opportunities

Each year we run ‘Connect’ our work shadow programme where we offer x10 young people aged 16+ who are serious about developing a career offstage, the opportunity to work alongside our technical team.

Over a 9 month period successful applicants are offered x3 shows on which they can shadow our team, learn about how shows are run and how to approach the working environment.
