Enjoy all the fun of a Festival in a day while raising funds for local children.
In a terrific end of term treat on Saturday 20th July from 3pm to late, a Summer Festival for all the community filled with live music, entertainment, food and fun will take place in the grounds of The Hayling College, Hayling Island.

Festival goers will be treated to a full stage line-up including an energetic display by Dynamic Dance and songs from the 50s to the present day with Utopia – Acoustic Vocal Duo, culminating in some of the best of tributes to top acts including Ariana Grande, Little Mix and Madness!
Adding a splash of geek to the occasion will be GoGeek Events with a range of superhero characters available for photo opps with some fantastic prizes and giveaways to be won for those attending in fancy dress and entering the fun stage competition.
Additional entertainment includes the chance to dance your socks off while getting fit with FITnFUNKEY, outdoor games provided by Game Over and the chance to meet your local Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service crew.
And in what could be a fantastic achievement for the island, all children, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and all their friends are urged to gather to attempt to smash the Guinness World Record for the most people simultaneously standing and linking arms!
Bask in the Festival vibes and enjoy the start of the summer holidays with a bar, fantastic food, glitter face paints, hair braiding and fun for the family whilst raising money for local children.
With schools facing increased pressure on resources, a number of fundraising initiatives have been produced by and held in aid of HI-5 Schools Family & Friends, a group formed to collectively fundraise to improve the quality of school life and opportunities on offer for pupils in Hayling Island.
As a charity, The Guildhall Trust has an active ‘Get Involved’ programme of workshops, activities and courses designed to engage pupils in the arts and signpost potential career paths in the creative industries. Funds raised will enable the Trust to deliver further sessions into the wider community.
CEO of The Guildhall Trust, Andy Grays said, “Hayling Island is very much a part of the community that Portsmouth Guildhall and The Guildhall Trust serves and the Summer Festival is a great opportunity to excite people with live performance and develop their passion for music whilst raising essential funds for schools”.
The festival has kindly been supported by The Langstone Quays Resort, Progression Signage and Coastguard Café.
Tickets for Hayling Summer Festival are available online or from the office of any of Hayling Island’s schools: Mengham Infant School, Mengham Junior School, Mill Rythe Infant School, Mill Rythe Junior School and The Hayling College.
