Do you enjoy singing Blues and Folk songs?

Then the Acoustic Workshop Weekend is for you.

The success of the first Acoustic Workshop Weekend in October 2018 was such that many participants asked for another such event to take place.

So on Saturday March 30th and Sunday March 31st 2019, there is an opportunity to take part in another learn and share experience of Folk and Blues workshop sessions.

Once again the sessions will focus on learning songs of the genres with a view to a performance at the end of the second day.

Participation in the sessions is free to everyone who applies.

Participants are encouraged to bring acoustic instruments if they wish or to attend just as singers  – whichever is preferred.

Participants may be of any musical standard  – the sessions will be geared towards encouraging all to participate through learning the songs and playing together.

The event will take place in the Guildhall courtesy of the Guildhall Trust and the sessions will be conducted by experienced local musicians.

To book your place, complete the booking form here and send it to: Den at scarlettownuk@gmail.com

The format will be as follows:

Saturday March 30th 2019

The sessions will run from 11.00am – 3.00pm with a short break for lunch

Sunday March 31st 2019

The sessions will run from 11.00am – 2.00pm with a short break for lunch followed by a final performance of the songs.
