Hot off the back of their appearance at the Oscars, QUEEN’s keyboardist, Spike Edney announces THE SAS BAND’s highly anticipated 25th Anniversary tour!

The evening will feature guest appearances by some of Spike’s rock-star and musician friends, performing their biggest hits from across the decades:

*JUSTIN HAWKINS (The Darkness)
*PATTI RUSSO (Meatloaf)

Spike Edney is one of the most respected and versatile session musicians and musical directors in the business. In addition to being legendary rock band Queen’s musical director and keyboard player since 1984, this British multi-instrumentalist has toured, recorded and performed with the living and late legends of our time, for over 40 years.

More About The SAS Band Performers

Justin Hawkins
Most noted for his role in The Darkness, Justin Hawkins is an electric performer and glam-rock icon. Whilst performing with The Darkness, the band collectively picked up three BRIT Awards, as well as two Kerrang! Awards in 2004. Best known for the singles ‘I Believe In A Thing Called Love’ and ‘Christmas Time (Don’t Let The Bells End)’, Justin is a gifted performer who is famed for his energetic stage presence.

Beginning his musical career as the guitarist for Boowy, one of Japan’s most popular rock band, Hotei’s fame spans over 35 years. With record sales pushing 40 million and collaborations with some of the worlds most famous musicians, Hotei is a big name on the bill for this concert.

Midge Ure 
A household name for most, Midge Ure is best known for his success in the 70’s and 80’s in bands such as Silk, Thin Lizzy, Rich Kids and Visage, as well as his most prolific stint as Ultravox’s frontman. A definitive staple of the 70’s and 80’s music scene, Ure is not one to miss.

Toyal Wilcox is a four time Brit Award nominated English musician, singer, songwriter, actress, producer and author. Best known for her years fronting the band Toyah, as well as a sensational solo career, Toyah has had 8 top 40 singles – including her most famous hits ‘It’s A Mystery’, ‘Thunder in the Mountains’ and ‘I Want to Be Free.’  

Graham Gouldman
In addition to a long career of song-writing and producing, Graham is best known for his part in the famed band 10cc. Gouldman co-wrote and performed some of their most famous songs such as ‘I’m Not In Love’, ‘The Things We Do For Love’ and ‘Dreadlock Holiday’.

Madeline Bell
Madeline Bell is best known for her part in contemporary pop combo – Blue Mink, who had several Top 20 hits with, including ‘Melting Pot’. As a soul singer who travelled from the US and made her name in the 60’s, Madeline is a credit to the SAS Band line-up.

Patti Russo
Best known for her numerous duets with Meat Loaf from 1993-2013, Patti Russo is a well-known singer, songwriter and actress. She has also performed with Queen, as well as performing at the locally loved and famed Isle of Wight festival in 2014. Patti is a staple feature in the SAS Band line-up and an absolute must-see.
