The sounds of the sea, blue whales and bees will mark the moment when hundreds of children come together to perform a concert celebrating our environment – and there won’t be a nurdle in sight!
Almost a year ago a new environmental campaign, created Portsmouth Music Hub, was launched at a beach clean in Southsea. Since then, by harnessing the power of music and the Arts, the One World campaign has inspired thousands of children from across Portsmouth to learn more about the environment and the impact our actions are having on our precious planet.
This year’s campaign will culminate with the One World Concert, where local children and young people will perform songs written by the Music Hub’s award-winning team of composers. Rising sea levels, litter, plastic pollution, and of course bees, whales and ocean pollution are just some of the issues that have fired up the imagination of hundreds of young people who will take to the stage for an evening of spectacular music and entertainment.
Join us to celebrate a year of passion and pride in our planet, and support the voices of a new generation as they remind us all to do what we can to change our wonderful world.
Oh, and if you want to know more about a nurdle, we’ll see you at the concert; the children will explain everything!
