Gamers! Prepare to get your geek on as Portsmouth Guildhall’s flourishing retro and board gaming festival returns extended across two further floors of the venue and an extra day!

Celebrating more than 40 years of gaming, Guildhall Games Fest on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd February 2020 will offer an unbeatable selection of retro, modern and board games and VR experiences.

From Pong to Pac Man and Mario to Minecraft, gamers can play on every console imaginable including the Vectrex, Game Cube, Playstation 1, Binatone TV Master IV and Xbox, pitting their skills against family and friends in two player games and tournaments to become the Guildhall Games Fest Champion.

Choose from and be shown how to play a huge selection of hundreds of new and traditional board games including Monopoly, Cluedo, Dead of Winter, King of Tokyo and Sheriff of Nottingham and enjoy the growing phenomenon of board gaming culture.

Adding a modern twist to the event are Official Sponsors, Novatech, the Portchester based PC builders who will be supplying Virtual Reality and a LAN gaming setup, all powered by their Reign gaming PCs.

A collaboration between The Guildhall Trust, Dice Portsmouth and Game Over, supported by Official Sponsor, Novatech, tickets for Guildhall Games Fest are the perfect Christmas gift for the gaming lovers in your life.

Sessions run 11am-4pm and 5-10pm on Saturday 1st and 11am-4pm on Sunday 2nd February 2020. For all ages – under 14s to be accompanied by an adult, under 4s free. The Guildhall’s casual dining space, The Square Kitchen, will also be open serving their signature square pizzas from just £4.50!
