The BSO is delighted to finally return to Portsmouth Guildhall in a concert with Sunwook Kim, who returns to the BSO for his long awaited conducting debut in a celebration of Beethoven, rescheduled from April 2019.
He directs the Orchestra from the keyboard in the epic tour de force that is the ‘Emperor’ Concerto, before conducting the Seventh Symphony, full of boundless energy and rhythmic impetus and with one of the most thrilling endings in all of classical music.
