Kindly note that all tickets for shows on sale from April 2014 will included a booking fee (BF). As of April 2013, legislation has changed that means we need to charge the same booking fee regardless of payment method. Booking fees are calculated as 10% of the ticket value for commercial events, 8% for community events and 5% for Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra concerts. This fee contributes to our ticket retail, distribution and technology expenses and helps us cover the costs of getting your tickets to you. It also helps us to exist as an effective business, which in turn allows us to reinvest in our charity, the Portsmouth Cultural Trust, our technology and the services we provide.
In Person: You can visit our Box Office at the Guildhall to purchase tickets in cash, by cheque, postal order or credit/ debit cards. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Delta and Switch.
On-line: Available 24 hours a day. Secure booking with instant confirmation of purchase. Tickets can be ordered by standard second class post at £2.25 per transaction or left in care of the box office for collection during box office during opening hours or 45 minutes before shows at £1.50.

Special Delivery UK: £5.50. Standard post Ex-UK: £5.25. Fedex/ UPS European Union, Switzerland and USA: £13.50
Fedex/ UPS rest of the world: £18.50
Print at home/ mobile sms: Buy your tickets online and print them at home or have them delivered to your phone at £1.75.

Exchanges/ Refunds/ Alterations: Once purchased, tickets may not be exchanged or refunded. However, we will accept tickets for resale if an event has sold out (£1 fee per ticket applies). Kindly also note that a £1 alteration fee applies to any booking changes.
Here is how we are complying with the new law on card surcharges:
1) The new law requires transparency and we do make it clear on our website that we add a booking fee.
2) The transaction charge covers costs we directly incur to process Ticketmaster phone and on-line payments.
3) We do not make a profit from booking fees, the Portsmouth Cultural Trust is a registered charity and a 'not-for-profit' organisation.
4) Our charges are in-line with the majority of other independent venues.
