 JIM DAVIDSON & JETHRO

Together for our forces

Following the huge success of last years concert in Plymouth, attended by over 2000 people, two of Britain’s greatest ever comedians, Jim Davidson and Jethro, team up again for an hysterical evening of stand up comedy in support of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.

Few entertainers have had the success enjoyed by Jim and Jethro, who continue, in their own right,to play to packed theatres around the UK. However, the chance to see them both together is a rare one, and promises a fabulous and unique evening of laughter for Portsmouth theatregoers.

Jim Davidson (pictured above) is firmly established as one of Britain's top stand-up comedians and he is well known to TV viewers as host of BBC TV game shows Generation Game and Big Break. He received an OBE for his services to charity. More information.

Jethro's (pictured on the right) first appearance was on the Des O'Connor Tonight show in 1990, followed by a return for the Christmas Eve show later that year – the first time a comedian had been invited back during one series. Jethro was also involved in one of the show's longest sequences of out-takes, removed due to his and Davidson's uncontrolled fits of laughter, but later shown separately. More infomation.
