We are currently looking for the following to join our team:

Project Manager, Discovering the Guildhall

Department: Learning & Participation
Responsible to: CEO
Hours: 27 Hours per week, flexible by arrangement with Line Manager. Some evening and weekend work required. Hours average across duration of project.
Duration of Contract: Sept 2018 – April 2020 (87 weeks)
Pay: £14 per hour
An exciting opportunity to lead and manage a project supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund aimed at preserving the heritage of the Guildhall.

Responsible for the recruitment and management of x2 interns and a group of volunteers you will oversee the construction of archive material and an exhibition, inspiring the involvement of the community, schools and partners to be involved in telling the Guildhall’s story.

Casual SIA Door Licensed Operatives

Department: Operations
Responsible to: Security & Wellbeing Manager
Hours: Casual (must be available evenings and weekends)
Pay: £10.25-£11.25 per hour

Working within the security & crowd management team within the largest Concert & event venue in the area as well as for Guildhall Events Services.

Looking after the security & crowd management of the events within the Guildhall as well as monitoring the safety & wellbeing of the team working within the Guildhall & patrons entering the venue.

Café Assistant

Department: Operations
Responsible to: Assistant Operations Manager
Hours: 40 hours per week, annualised
Pay: National Minimum Wage

Purpose of Job:

To provide a professional, friendly and efficient service to the café patrons throughout the daytime offer & evening concert operation. Providing advice and assistance to customers, maintaining product and undertaking cleaning duties whilst ensuring compliance to company policies, ‘best practice’ and current legislation.
